CG Capital launches Flexible Financing for the Future
CG Capital Ltd. is attending for
the first time Intermodal 2004, the leading European container
exhibition and conference at the Bella Centre, Copenhagen, Denmark.
CG Capital was formed earlier this
year by two former Transamerica Finance Corporation Executives,
Rob Hawking and Jonathan Royals. Intermodal is a highly
significant time for us says Hawking. We are here
to grow and strengthen our relationships with existing and potential
partners, all of which are within shipping and intermodal equipment
operators.
With Hawkings experience in
the container leasing market and Jonathan Royals' 20 years in
corporate banking they saw an opportunity to set up a specialist
customer focused finance company. This company aims to provide
competitive flexible financial structures benefiting the shipping
and intermodal sectors.
Our company is a customer-focused
business. says Hawking We put the needs of the intermodal
and shipping companies first and we work with them to achieve
the best structured finance to suit their business. Rob
explains This is what sets us apart from the competition.
CG Capital has had a busy first
year providing funding for a number of box and tank container
acquisitions for major European shipping lines and tank operators.
Rob Hawking says With our industry contacts and our fresh
approach to financing we can bring new liquidity into the market.
We can introduce a variety of new banks to the shipping world;
we can provide them with new business in a new market whilst
at the same time provide the box buyers with new lines of credit
and hassle-free finance.
CG Capital has already formed a new
division First Tank Finance, an alliance with EXSIF
Worldwide, the global leader and largest equipment owner in
the tank container market. First Tank Finance offers all types
of finance lease structures for tanks and a unique combination
of tank container expertise and knowledge.
